Signals
Understand what signals are, how they're discovered, and how they flow into your workspace.
Signals are project events Parcel discovers from public sources — permit filings, zoning decisions, property sales, construction loans, and more. Your workspace subscribes to the signal types it cares about; subscribed signals flow into the Home queue and (optionally) email alerts.
The Home queue
Home is a workspace-shared triage queue. Signals are ranked new-first, then by the priority you assigned the type (high → medium → low), then by filing date. Built-in views (New · High priority · Done) plus saved custom views and filters (type, priority, city, free-text) shape the list. Marking a signal done removes it from New for the whole workspace and records who acted; mark-as-unread restores it. The queue starts at your subscription date (with a short lookback) and shows recent filings only, so historical backfills never flood it.
