Enrichment
Understand how Parcel populates and enhances contact records.
Contact enrichment is the process of populating a contact record with verified information beyond what appears in raw public documents. Parcel uses a combination of document extraction and external data sources to build complete contact profiles.
What gets enriched
| Field | Source |
|---|---|
| Full name | Extracted from project documents |
| Job title | Extracted from documents or external sources |
| Organization | Linked to an account via identity resolution |
| Email address | Populated via external enrichment where available |
| LinkedIn profile | Populated via external enrichment where available |
| Projects | Linked from evidence extraction across all documents |
Identity resolution
Parcel uses deterministic identity resolution to merge contact mentions across documents. If the same person appears by name in multiple filings, Parcel links those mentions to a single contact record rather than creating duplicates.
Contacts that cannot be confidently resolved are placed in the needs-review queue for manual verification.
Needs review
Some contacts require manual review before being surfaced:
- Ambiguous name matches (common names, partial matches)
- Conflicting organization signals across documents
- New contacts with insufficient evidence to resolve identity
Resolved contacts are available immediately in the Contacts table and via the API.
