ICP Tier
Understand how ICP Tier classifies accounts by fit with your ideal customer profile.
ICP Tier (Ideal Customer Profile Tier) classifies each account by how closely it matches the type of customer your team is trying to reach. Unlike Atlas Score, which reflects activity level, ICP Tier reflects profile fit.
Tiers
| Tier | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Tier 1 | Strong fit with your ICP — the account type, size, and role align closely with your target customer |
| Tier 2 | Moderate fit — some alignment with your ICP but not a primary target |
| Tier 3 | Low fit — in your market but outside your core ICP |
| Disqualified | Explicitly excluded from your ICP — these accounts are filtered out of scoring and prioritization |
How tiers are assigned
ICP tiers are set manually in the app. Your team reviews accounts and assigns each one a tier based on your own criteria for what makes a strong, moderate, or low-fit customer. Parcel does not automatically derive tiers from account attributes.
Using ICP Tier with Atlas Score
The two scores work together:
- Tier 1 + high Atlas Score: active in the market and a strong fit — highest priority
- Tier 1 + rising trend: good fit and accelerating — worth early outreach
- Tier 2 + high Atlas Score: active but lower fit — monitor, not primary focus
