Boston is Parcel’s primary market. Parcel ingests public records from the City of Boston and the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA), covering large-scale development projects from early-stage announcement through construction completion.

Data sources

Parcel currently monitors the BPDA development projects feed at bostonplans.org. This covers large-scale projects that have entered the Article 80 large project review process with the Boston Planning and Development Agency.

Coverage depth

Parcel’s Boston dataset includes projects tracked back to 2015, with ongoing incremental ingestion as new records are filed. Project identity matching and document parsing run continuously as new filings are processed.
